Many people enjoy the satisfaction of creating green spaces, improved fitness and health that comes with gardening and the reward of growing their own food. Others simply enjoy the beauty and relaxation of being around plants.

The work of the Barbados Horticultural Society (BHS) is in part to get its members digging and caring for plants. We provide information and the tools for us members to improve their gardening skills. We help them discover new ideas for growing plants in pots or outdoors to complement home and neighbourhood. We offer opportunities for beauty to be enjoyed and for the thrill of showing prize plants and winning prizes to be experienced.

There is no prerequisite for joining BHS. Come! Join us and participate at any level you choose.
