The Barbados Horticultural Society is pleased to present the Annual Flower & Garden Show, (AFGS) its premier event, under the distinguished patronage of the President of Barbados at the end of January every year.
This celebration of flora is held at the headquarters of the Barbados Horticultural Society, at Ball Plantation, Balls, Christ Church.
Renowned as one of Barbados’ most anticipated horticultural events, the Annual Flower & Garden Show, brings together floral artists, horticultural enthusiasts, gardeners, landscapers, and members of the public who appreciate all things flora. It is a celebration of beauty, creativity, innovation and the enduring connection between people and plants
Patrons are invited to wander through exquisitely curated displays of plants and shrubs, an entrancing display of orchids, captivating floral exhibits that reflect both tradition and innovation, a wide array of cactus and succulents and a fabulous display of Bonsai where beautifully shaped miniature trees invite visitors to pause, reflect, and admire the beauty of nature at its best.
The show also features a select offering of plants, garden accessories, fruits, and vegetables, along with local craft, jewellery, and apparel for sale.Â
