Sunday, 17th February 2019 – 2.00 pm – 6.00 pm

This most interesting property has been lovingly and interestingly created over several years by the owners whose knowledge of tropical plants is very evident. Ample parking is available opposite the Brittons Hill Post office.
Bordering the driveway to the house on the west side are many types of Heliconias and on the eastern or (Tennis Court) side there is a profusion of Bougainvillea, Yellow Shrimp and Alamandas in full bloom. As you continue up the driveway you will be greeted by many species of Eranthemums, Aglaonemas, Crotons, Acalyphas to name a few and on the left side an interesting collection of Bougainvillea of many colours in pots sitting on small ledges in a massive coral stone boulder. Further on the latest edition is an intricately created “Waitikubuli” garden. Waitikubuli is the Carib name for Dominica the birth place of Mrs. Ishmael. Follow the steps up to the terrace on the eastern side of the garden where you will discover several different areas some with pools, small waterfalls, Orchids, Torch Gingers, Philodendrons, Bright blue Plumbago, Thunbergia, Desert Roses etc.
When you have taken in all that you can, descend the front steps and visit the newly created “Quarry Garden” with its interesting selection of plants and the small waterfall.
Retrace your steps along the driveway to the lawn where Teas and cooling drinks are available.
